Little Celebrations: A Modern Egg Hunt

Easter Sunday is this weekend, which means many of you will be celebrating this joyous holiday with a church service, a delicious family meal, and a traditional egg hunt. If you happen to be hosting, I have some great Easter party finds that will make your egg hunt, modern, festive, and most of all fun!

Famous blogger and Style Extraordinaire Oh Joy! Recently launched her Oh Joy! for Target collection full of the coolest party supplies for all your special celebrations. The color palette of coral, green, yellow, and gold make for a fresh and modern backdrop for an Easter Party. This Oh Joy! Floral Garland is a fun and easy way to dazzle up your Easter spread.

Add some extra special golden eggs to your egg hunt. These gold Wooden Easter Eggs from Imagination Kids would make for a great special egg to find in your trickiest hiding spots. You can purchase in a 6 pack or individually.

How perfect is this "Lets go on an egg hunt" Easter Party Kit from The Land of Nod?! No need to bring out the china, this party kit full of scalloped paper plates, bunny cups, a cool yellow striped table cloth, bow tie wearing bunny cupcake toppers, and festive paper napkins are sure to make just as beautiful of a statement that the kids will love! (Easy clean up the adults will love too!)

Add some cool egg hunt clues with these Arrow Easter Signs from Potter Barn. These yard stakes will be cherished for years, and will be great accessories for those adorable egg hunt pictures. They are Leon on sale right now, HOORAY! Who doesn't love a deal?

Speaking of Pottery Barn, their kids store also has some of the sweetest Easter decor for your "egg-cellent" party! (Sorry I couldn't resist!) Why not buy some bunny ears for the kiddos that will be attending your egg hunt. These make for a great favor, and again a great photo prop for those Easter pics!

Now that the decor is set it's time to move on to the food! Honestly I'm a fan of a classic ham, and potato salad, so stick to the classics, and your party is sure to be a hit! To add some cool and modern sweets to your spread I have found two easy desserts that you can make from home. Links to the recipes found below.

One last fun and easy detail to add to your egg hunt are these Peep Stirrers! Just get some cake pop sticks and some peeps, and voila! For the kids you can do the same thing just stick the peeps throw a straw, and your little can enjoy a little treat with their kid friendly mock tails.

"Hoppy" Easter Loves!

Yours Truly,
Melissa
