Shop Spotlight: Wild Things Dresses

So tonight I watched Shark tank, and was completely inspired by this amazing designer named Susan Peterson of Freshly Picked Moccs. I have always been a fan of her designs, and think her Moccs are fantastic! What was so impressive, was to hear her story on how she built her company with literally nothing but frames from windows, which she sold for $200, to buy fabric to make her Moccs. She has now built her business to $500,000 in sales in just this year. She made a great deal on Shark Tank with entrepreneur Daymond John, which is sure to take her business to extraordinary levels.

In honor of her inspiring small business story, I have decided to dedicate Saturdays to "Shop Spotlights", in which I will share an inspiring small business with my readers. Today my first Shop Spotlight is about a designer named Kirsty Hartley, who is the designer of a fun kids clothing shop called "Wild Things Dresses". Her shop is based in England, however us here in the states can easily shop her collection through her shop on Etsy.

The Wild Things Dresses shop is full of playful pinafores, animal hats and even teepees!!! Layer the dresses with colorful "Peter Pan" collared shirts, and patterned tights for a fun and funky outfit. This mom of three turned clothing designer is "inspired by the simplicity of Scandanavian design, and 60s and 70s styling" as per her Etsy bio.

Wild Things dresses was ranked #6 on Babble.coms top 50 Etsy shops for kids.

I love these playful animal costumes. Your little one will have a blast playing dress up, and roaring like a bear, or squeaking like a mouse!

Even your little raccoons can get in on the act with their creative selection of dungarees.

Check out all the adorable duds at https://www.etsy.com/shop/wildthingsdresses

You can also follow the shop on Facebook and Twitter.

I hope you enjoyed my first Saturday Small Shop Spotlight!!!

Yours Truly,
Melissa
