Little Digs: Savanna's Playroom

One of my favorite bloggers, Meghan from The Life with Peanut recently shared her daughter's playroom with me, and I just had to feature it! The room is filled with bold bright colors, the sweetest personal touches, and a reading corner that you could relax in for hours.

If your house looks anything like mine, you probably have toys coming out of your ears. It seems as after their first birthday, toys sort of take over your house. Meghan has been able to put together a room full of all those favorite toys we get from Target and Toys R Us, and display them in a fun and accessible way for her daughter.

Megan also has a sweet little Etsy shop where she sells digital art prints and canvas art, which they used in the playroom. Check out her shop here:Life with Peanut Shop

This little ABC mat was a gift they had received at her baby shower. Meghan loved it so much she decided to use this as the platform and inspiration for the playroom. She decided to go with primary colors of red, blue, and yellow to compliment the mat.

Meghan found these adorable greeting cards at Target, that she wanted to somehow use for decor in the playroom. She found frames (also at Target), and thought to cluster them and hang them on the wall. Such a sweet personal touch!

This little reading nook is Savanna's favorite place in the house. She absolutely loves to read! Many times throughout the day she will grab a book from her shelf, give it to her mom, then go sit in her chair, showing Mom it's time for story time! She loves flipping the pages, and babbling as Mom reads.

Thank you so much Meghan for giving us a little tour of Savannah's adorable playroom! I can see the love and happiness this room has given your little lady.

Yours Truly,
Melissa
