Little Celebrations: Milk and Cookies Party

If you have been following the blog, you will know that I have decided to start featuring some of my readers in special features such as Kid of the Month, Little Celebrations, and Little Digs. Today we have a Little Celebration that is double the fun, for the cutest little twins' first birthday bash!

When deciding on the theme for the party, their mom Chelsey went with a Milk and Cookies theme, because it was gender neutral, and something both her kids enjoyed and loved! (I mean who doesn't, right?) Ill take a milk and cookies 31st birthday party please!

From the peach and blue color scheme, to a milk and cookies piñata,  this party is full of the sweetest, and most creative little touches. No little detail was spared for this little celebration.

Can you even handle these two? Forget the cookies, I could just gobble these two up!

Each twin got their own personal chalkboard full of fun facts about them. They may look alike, and share the same birthday, but they each have their own sweet little personalities.

Here's what their mom Chelsey, the milk & cookies party planner,
had to say about this special occasion...
" I had so much fun preparing for this party, and even more fun watching my sweet babies celebrate their first year of life with our close friends and family. I can't begin to describe the joy these two have brought me. There's nothing more I would rather be than their mommy, and I thank God every day for these two blessings. "

From what I can tell Chelsey, they are equally as blessed to have you as their Mommy!

To keep the kids entertained Chelsey created a cookie and play dough decorating station. What a fun and unique way keep the kiddos busy!

To keep all the cookie monsters appetites in check there was a cookie buffet full of chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, m&m, and peanut butter kiss cookies. Other sweet treats included chocolate peanut butter balls, and their personal favorite almond tarts (yummy!) Because a plate of cookies isn't complete without a glass of ice cold milk, Chelsey created a milk station with regular and chocolate milk, and straws that actually could change the flavor of the milk! I'm sure the kids and adults alike, had a blast with that.

All the banners and decor was created by the twins mom Chelsey. She hit up Hobby Lobby and
was able to cut up and sew together banners and garland from a few yards of
duck cloth, muslin, and burlap.

I'm am seriously so amazed by all you crafty moms who can put together these party accessories! How adorable is this Happy Birthday Bunting banner she put together??

Thank you so much Chelsey for sharing your twins adorable first birthday party with us!!

Yours Truly,
Melissa
